Soul Movements – Family Constellation
It’s a primal striving of human beings to find unity, balance and harmony.
As a family constellation worker, this is the most important truth I hold worthy of consideration. This intention derives from love as a basic motivating force, and it’s originally pure and positive.
The process of family constellation takes place in a meditative state of mind, where you can observe yourself and others in a quieted space of the mind.
Though the system of family constellation which works on the basis of Hellinger’s insights is outside of any particular religion, it is close to both a Buddhist view of the world and Judeo-Christian values.
The respect of ancestors and the right to belong, together with the responsibility it involves appear in this system from Judeo-Christian values. A central tenet of Buddhism is the Middle Way. Both of these cultures have versions of the adage “do not judge yourself and do not judge your fellow men.”
The system of family constellation states everything has a cause and a goal, and therefore a message.
Could an illness have a message? A goal as well as a cause?
Or -
negative feelings;
bad temper or bad habits;
addictions;
relationships falling apart;
existential crises;
loss of identity;
loss of trust;
being at the mercy of the world;
worrying too much;
spiritual and mental troubles;
losses;
childhood traumas.
Where’s everybody’s true place, so an individual would not fall into extremes?
The answer is hidden in the question.
Those drives you do not understand in yourself, which have a compelling force upon you and your life come from the space of the family unconscious.
The space where all this goes on is an unconscious space: the collective field of the family, an all-knowing field where the actual reality of the soul manifests and appears “the way things are.”
What can you expect from a family constellation session?
If your soul is ready for certain changes, all you have to do is entrust yourself to this space. Then the self-healing process of the soul can freely move on and do its job. Another important thing is be patient with yourself; time goes on at a different speed in this space.
Family Constellation
Hellinger's theraphy is about family systems, and any religious beliefs are probably very much in harmony with those. Hellinger was a deeply religious man when he discovered this group solution to family problems among the Zulu people where he was a Christian missionary.
